Inside everyone is a divine light, a spark that longs to burst into flame.

We all start out with that spark burning brightly. But over the years, emotional scars, demands of family and career, and various distractions separate us from our true essence. We lose our passion, energy, and hope.

I know what that feels like. More than 20 years ago, I was a young woman in the grip of an eating disorder. Self-blame and shame had nearly extinguished my spark. Through the illuminating practices of yoga and mindfulness, I was able to burn away my pain and rekindle a sense of purpose for my life.

Now, my greatest joy is helping others find their way along the path to more healthy, luminous living. If you too have felt the pressure of darkness encroaching on your joy, I am here to help you live authentically from the inside out, guided by the wisdom and strength within you.

Once you’ve plugged into that power source, you’ll never be the same. Recently, I experienced a devastating loss that could easily have crushed me—the loss of my sister in the largest massacre in Canadian history. I’ll be honest: at times, I’ve feared I was drowning in the immense darkness of this tragedy. But the physical, mental, and spiritual practices that I study and teach have continued to buoy me up. I’m now emerging from this crisis with an even stronger connection to the power and peace that reside within all of us.

I'm so glad you're here. Let’s nurture, cherish and spread the light together.
